deck or no deck
๐ DECK OR NO DECK
How much are you willing to risk?
A card-based game of luck, risk, and negotiation.
Reveal the cards. Watch the prize pool change. Listen to the banker's offer.
Then make the decision:
DECK or NO DECK?
Take the deal and secure your winnings...
or keep playing and risk everything for a bigger prize.
๐ด ABOUT THE GAME
Deck or No Deck is an indie card game inspired by the classic Deal or No Deal concept, but with its own gameplay systems, progression and risk mechanics.
Instead of simply choosing whether to accept an offer, you must manage your energy, evaluate the cards that remain, consider the potential rewards and decide how much risk you're willing to take.
Every card you reveal changes the situation.
Every offer tells you something.
And every NO DEAL could be the decision that wins you a fortune...
or costs you everything.
๐ฐ DEAL OR NO DEAL?
The core idea is simple:
Reveal cards.
Remove prizes from the board and watch the remaining possibilities change.
Receive an offer.
The banker evaluates the situation and makes you an offer.
Make your choice.
DEAL — Take the money and end the game.
NO DEAL — Reject the offer and continue playing.
The higher the potential reward, the harder the decision becomes.
The question isn't whether you can win.
The question is when you should stop.
โก MANAGE YOUR ENERGY
Money isn't the only thing you have to worry about.
Your energy is another resource you must manage during the game.
Some cards can drain your energy.
Others can restore it.
Run out of energy and the game is over.
This creates another layer of risk:
Sometimes the best offer isn't the biggest one.
It's the one you can afford to refuse.
๐ง RISK VS. REWARD
Every decision changes your situation.
A great offer might appear while several valuable cards are still available.
But what happens if you reject it?
Maybe the next card is worth almost nothing.
Maybe you find the jackpot.
Maybe you lose the energy you needed to continue.
There is no guaranteed strategy.
You have to read the situation and decide how far you're willing to go.
โ๏ธ POWERFUL UPGRADES
During a game you can acquire temporary upgrades that can dramatically change your chances.
๐ก๏ธ Defensive upgrades
Protect your energy and survive dangerous situations.
๐ค Negotiation upgrades
Improve your ability to deal with the banker.
๐ Revival
Get another chance when the game seems to be over.
โ๏ธ DOUBLE
Double the value of your final result.
โ๏ธ TRIPLE
Triple your final result.
But powerful upgrades come at a price.
The question is:
Do you spend your money now to increase your chances... or save it for something bigger?
๐ด COLLECT DIFFERENT DECKS
Your journey doesn't end with a single deck.
Unlock and collect different themed decks, each with its own visual identity and gameplay characteristics.
Explore different worlds, take different levels of risk and discover which decks suit your play style.
From classic cards to strange and unexpected themes, there is more than one way to play.
And if you manage to collect them all...
There may be something waiting for you.
๐ EVERY DECK IS DIFFERENT
Different decks can change the experience through their:
- number of cards;
- prize distribution;
- maximum reward;
- risk profile;
- difficulty;
- visual theme.
Some decks are longer and more demanding.
Others contain fewer cards and offer a more concentrated experience.
Choosing a deck is part of the strategy.

๐ฆ THE BANKER
The banker isn't just there to give you money.
His offer is a challenge.
Sometimes the offer will look tempting.
Sometimes it will feel insulting.
Sometimes you may wonder:
"Is he trying to make me accept because he knows something I don't?"
The goal isn't simply to calculate the highest possible reward.
It's to understand when the risk is worth taking.
๐ฅ HOW FAR WILL YOU GO?
Imagine this:
You have a valuable prize still on the board.
The banker offers you $8,000.
You could walk away.
But there is still a chance to win $25,000.
You press:
NO DEAL
The next card is revealed.
...
Everything changes.
That's Deck or No Deck.

OK I tried it, really it doesn't make any sense to me, I am just picking cards at total random and losing every time. Also it's so AI it's inherently repellent.
Thanks a lot! Iโll adjust the difficulty and highlight the use of upgrades, as they give meaning to the decision-making process. Regarding the AI, it was used to assist with the artwork; Iโll try to find a happy medium. Thanks for your feedbackโcheers!
